Well the time has come for us to close our Breedfiles site and keep it up as an archive. This now means that the site won't be updated anymore or will we attempt to revive it again as their won't be a Breed 2 announced, we are sure of that. EA should be releasing their much anticipated Mod Toolkit for Battlefield 2 sometime this coming week. As well as that, they will be coming out with a 1.03 patch that updates and addresses a number of issues from the game.

Today FileFront Network launches another new site to the collection, Fear Game Files, covering the new up and coming first-person tactical shooter, FEAR.
In FEAR, the story begins as an unidentified paramilitary force infiltrates a multi-billion dollar aerospace compound. The government responds by sending in Special Forces, but loses contact as an eerie signal interrupts radio communications. When the interference subsides moments later, the team has been literally torn apart. As part of a classified strike team created to deal with threats no one else can handle, your mission is simple: Eliminate the intruders at any cost. Determine the origin of the signal. And contain this crisis before it spirals out of control.

DOOM 3 - 5.56mm Full Metal Jacket (Beta 0.43) / First public release
This is a pre-version of a team-based, tactical multi player mod where the player must fight across a series of unrelated maps, each of them set in unique locations. The player first chooses to be part of either the "West" or "East" team, knowing that each of them features its own weapons. In the final version, he shall even be able to configure them prior to starting a scenario. This pre-version comes with six different weapons - three per team - and four maps; albeit their taking place in outdoor areas, they boast as unique as outstanding visuals notably thanks to the "BloomShader" which creates a breathtaking HDR-like look.

Our thoughts go out to those who were injured, and family members of those involved in this mornings' terrorist attacks on London. We hope that as few as possible people will be permanently injured and as few as possible families will be broken up.
Lastly we hope that this will be the beginning of the end of terrorist attacks around the world, and all world leaders unite against this threat to all of us.
Our prayers go out to all who have been effected by this cowardly act.

Act of War Map
This map is designed to "mimic" an urban landscape. Albeit, it's not the best that can be made, but I sure love playing it. There are enough spaces between the buildings to allow vehicle movement, but not enough for mass armour assaults (tank rushes) to be effective, especially against TFT snipers. TFT has a huge advantage due to the fact that they are good at holding buildings early, and their AT units don't blow up the room their in when they shoot. Choppers are effective in conjunction with the infantry, and keeping them safe from artillery, the arch enemy of the building garrisons. Theirs not enough room room for anti-superweapons in alot of the spaces, so again, TFT has another adavntage in late game.

****Battlegrounds arrive!****
- The Warsong Gulch and Alterac Valley battlegrounds are now available. The Warsong Gulch entrances may be found in the northern Barrens near the Mor'Shan Rampart (Horde) and south of Silverwing Outpost in Ashenvale (Alliance). The Alterac Valley entrances may be found east of Sofera's Naze in Alterac (Horde),
and in the Headlands of Alterac (Alliance).
General
- Wands - The Shoot Wand ability is now a toggle. While active, it will continue attacking with the equipped wand until cancelled (e.g. moving). Pet speed has been increased when out of combat and following their master.
- Berserking (Troll Racial) - Updated tooltip to clarify ability only usable following a melee critical.
- Hardiness (Orc Racial) - Fixed a bug that caused many abilities to ignore the additional resistance.
- It should no longer be possible to disarm traps created by friendly players.

* Fixed a Shader Model 3.0 issue that caused graphics corruption on new ATI hardware.

Boiling Point: Road to Hell US Retail v1.1 Patch
Changes in the v1.1 patch are as follows:
- Text messages do not remain on screen after a phone call
- Enemy declaration messages are now opportunely displayed
- Hint messages are displayed on time.
- CIA Faction missions are no longer rewarded when not accomplished by Saul
- Suicide guy mission: Once Saul fails this mission, it disappears from the
mission list
- Minor problems which caused missions to become impossible to finish have been
fixed.
- Graphical issues during the character's death animation scene or NPC
animation in cities have been fixed
- Minor sound issues such as voiceover looping are fixed
- Minor camera issues which were noticed during the test have been fixed
- Problem of user's car disappearing have been fixed
- Problem of user's car remaining stuck in the environment or which location

- Police station cannot be destroyed by a crossbow anymore
- When Saul drops one item, only this item disappears from his inventory
- Some rare crashes were noticed throughout the game, and epically when loading
quick saves. This has been fixed.

War in the Pacific v1.60 Patch
This update focuses on some 20 minor bug fixes and a multitude of subtle map changes to better mimic the War in the Pacific. Some of the more important items include fixes involving the capture of enemy bases, the loss of experience when replacing large numbers of soldiers in a unit, and unit all follow commands. Additionally, there are 41 map changes that more accurately depict the war.

Andrew's Retirement
Secondly, the sad announcemnt of our Network PR Andrew leaving us for personal reasons. You can read his goodbye post here. Andrew was one of our top Network Admins and has brought many great things to the network.
He won't be gone entirely ofcourse and will drop in to say hi every now and then.
Taking over Andrew's position as our Network PR is Lee AKA Big Daddy. Big Daddy has worked alongside Andrew for a long time and we're all confident Big Daddy will do great in his new position.

Half-Life 2: Eclipse Mod
Eclipse is a third-person total conversion of Valve's Half-Life 2 . It is an action adventure that features tactical, puzzle based combat, which forces the player to interact with the surrounding environment in order to survive. You play as a young Sorceress named Violet who has learned the secrets of Telekinesis. This allows Violet to easily find objects in the environment that she can pick up and throw. Once the player gets used to picking up objects and throwing them at targets, the movement of Violet becomes very important. Based on where an enemy is Violet might want to pick up one or more objects and then move about in order to get a good angle on her enemy before sending the objects flying in that direction.

Half-Life 2: Hidden: Source Mod
The mod itself is based on a two-team approach: one "hidden" player against a maximum of eight marines. The hidden is practically invisible, excepting for a small refraction of light inside the hiddens body (to the marines it looks a bit like heat haze).

Their main advesary is OpFor that stands for Opposing Forces who are a collection of the enemies the SAS have faced in past and present times. Dawn of War: Daemonhunters Mod
The Daemonhunters Mod allows you to play Inquisitorial Forces ("Ordo Malleus"), which will be sent into the heat of battle by the Imperator when a Daemonic plague (Chaos) has infected a whole world. As of right now, there is only one more day to enter our Battlefield 2 giveaway contest. All you need to enter is to be a registered member of the sites (it's free) and have at least one comment posted.
Like we mentioned before, we have five copies of Battlefield 2, a Z-Board with BF2 keyset, five 1-year FastPasses from FileFront, a 32 slot server rental for 3 months complete with Ventrilo support from AJservers.com, and of course the many copies of the BF2: Modern Combat PS2 demo.

Hey there to all the folks out there in the FileFront Gaming Network. I have some news for you that may disturb some, and make others dreams come true. I have decided to revoke my own status as Network Administrator / Public Relations for ALL of FilesNetwork. My life has simply become too extrenuous to continue working here.
As you recall, for those that were around, I was promoted to Network Administrator last year in July...I continued to stay strong with the community and try my best to give you the latest news, files, and updates alongside a (most of the time) dedicated staff team. This network went through many changes while I was here, and I can say that I was some part of alot of those changes.
As I grew up with the network, I learned alot myself, about people, about other cultures. I learned how to program, code, and overall, be a much more presentable person in public. I have gained skills and knowledge equivalent to that of a normal real-world job, and the efforts I have made have ultimately paid off for the best of the benefit. You have all stayed strong in the gaming community and it has been quite a pleasure using these skills to benefit you. I don't leave today without the notion that I helped SOMEONE in a great manner
This network has meant alot to me. Hundreds (I would even say over a thousand) hours of my life have gone into this site and this network, making it a larger part of my teenage years. You, the community, have been my main focus from the start and that has been the image I have given to all staff members I have trained when I hire new into the network. You, the community, are the most important part of our sites, and though we admins may strain on the rules, we are ALWAYS looking in the best benefit.
To all of you that read this, please know that I have been selfless, I have not been paid a penny for my work here and I do not wish gratitude upon myself for my leave. This message has been brought to you so that I can say thankyou, for all your dedication to making the online communities of today a more friendly, thourough, and safe environment for gamers around the world. You are the heart and soul of the gaming community, no matter what site you prefer.
Accordingly, I have offered another well known staff member my job as Public Relations, and we are awaiting his decision. Big Daddy is a very well known staff member to me, and not only that, but also a friend. If he takes this job, you will be in great hands

This will only apply to those that have ordered the DVD vesion so the CD buyers need not worry about it.
